Hmmm.. I wonder what the alternative to the DUs will be?

I don't blame Channing on not liking veggies... who does? Actually I do... but I like them with FLAVOR.. but of course we can't have too much of that. Defeats the purpose. BTW... nice plug on there. Awesome.

Childhood obesity... Cause... Lazy parents. I'll admit it. Much easier to prepare processed foods or order fast foods than it is to cook a healthy meal of protein and veggies and have to struggle with them to eat it.

I am guilty of this with AJ, not Ariel just AJ. He has yet to eat a veggie in it's natural form. Although I have pureed veggies and snuck them into brownies, pankcakes, etc etc. going to those extremes actually hinder the situation and promotes unhealthy eating habits. There I said it. I am a lazy parent. People may judge me on this alone. They will not take into account that I do have an older child who is successfully developing good eating habits. So whatever. I make sure I keep them BOTH active, so their bodies can at least benefit from various forms of activity and exercise.

Yea, some douchebag tried to steal my shine though by posting some BULLSH*T workout routine and calling it the Channing Tatum workout. Channing did THE SAME type of training all of you are doing. We did high intensity circuit workouts for 20-30 minutes a clip, none of that back & biceps on Monday, legs and whatever on Tuesday nonsense. I already emailed the webmaster for that site about that, so let's see if he gets back to me on it.

Now... Ummmm, AJ needs veggies!

Oh well that sucks that they are MISinforming people about the workout.

As far as AJ... You come here and try to feed them to him.

He has actually licked the floret part of Brocolli, then tosses it to the floor. See.. he has this thing... if he doesn't want it... it doesn't stay on the plate. Not even on the side. It gets tossed. We're working on that. LOL!

Now I am going to bed. I obviously got NOTHING done this evening in the reading department. Well actually I read your blog... so that should count. ;-)

Tomorrow should be a better day. My babygirl turns 13 tomorrow.. She is officially a teenager. Now we can introduce her to Crossfit and Mr. Pukey.

Andrea, You are way ahead of the game in this area. Aside from your trying to do the right thing about nutrition, you and Angel both set a great example for the kids in your personal lifestyles. I can't begin to tell you how important that example will be to the kids as they grow up. Just look at your daughter's interests already. Jeanne and I made every mistake in the book concerning nutrition with our kids (and I in my own diet)due to ignorance and were fortunate to overcome those mistakes. Yes, you're far ahead of where we were at the same time in our lives.

That appears to be one crowed gym. All you need is one oaf in the crowd and you'll wind up with a dozen injuries to innocent participants.

Yep, crowded indeed...but it was a certification seminar not a typical workout.
