Our search for Riverdale's Fittest Man and Woman will now be an in-house event! Since we pretty much got no response from the locals, we're just going to change the game up a little bit and have fun amongst ourselves!
Now this time around there will be no registration fee, so of course no cash prize. However, the prize will be two months free of dues...and bragging rights of course!
The events a little different, as well as the scoring system, so be sure to check the details below. Also, there will just be one open divison...no age or weight class breakdowns!
Scoring:
For each event, competitors will given a point in direct correlation to their finishing order. For example, fist place = 1 point, 2nd place = 2 points, 3rd place = 3 points, etc... The man and woman with the lowest number of total points after all 6 events will be declared the winner! Every rep and every second will count! Note: a DNF (do not finish) will = 8 points!

Unfortunately I will not be competing but I wish my team the best!
Looks like fun, but a few questions:
1. Will all of these events be done in one session? It looks to be about 70 minutes of activity. If so, how much rest is provided between events?
2. Will everyone be required to do the ringdip pushups, sledge swings and burpees the same way?
3. Who will be the judges? With this large a group participating at one time you'll need several.
Well Andrea you can come in and help judge!
All events will be one done on Saturday. Each event will be broken into two heats most likely, depending on how many competitors we have. Rest between events will be approximately 10 minutes.
There will be an official range of motion standard on the sledge swing for both men and women. The same applies for the ring push-ups. There will be a target beneath your chest to touch on the way down and a target above your shoulders to touch on the way up. The same applies for the burpess, ring rows, and wallball shots...there will be ONE standard.
As of right now I have 4 judges, including myself. Two more and I'm good to go.
I'll help judge but i can stay all morning. LOL!
can't stay... that is
