The converted. I like that article. It made me think of why people DON'T like Crossfit. Then it made me ask myself why do I love it so much?

I have to agree with her that it brings me back to my athletic days and the days when I used to challenge the boys on the block. Because I swear anything a boy can do... GIRLS CAN DO BETTER. This is why I enjoy it so much... yes it helps me get "fit" but it's the "challenge" that I love the most. Although it may not seem so during the workout. LOL!

So I wonder... how many of us in the Dungeon were athletes back in the days?

Yep, the converted was definitely a good one... Seriously though, it's amazing how some people are "scared" of drinking the kool-aid simply because it's "hard". This program has clearly worked wonders for everyone who has stepped up to the plate and given an honest 100%. I think putting in a tough 20-30 minutes 3 out of every 4 days is relatively easy compared to living in a physical and/or mental state that you're not happy with. Now that's what's "hard" in my opinion. When you look at the situation on the simplest level, it's absolutely crazy how someone would rather be depressed, live in a body that they hate, and surround themselves with a bunch of miserable people who enable their self pity and/or put them down than eat right and break a sweat with a group of supportive like minded individuals. But again, that's why this "isn't for everyone". It works for everyone, but everyone doesn't have what it takes to work for it.

And that's a good question Andrea...lol.
