Interesting article on genetics considering I have this friend that won't date anyone unless they have superior genetics. Isn't that absurd?
Now other than the absurdity of the above comment, I think the gentics articles contradicts itself. If you CAN make your body out to what you want it to be, then why not look like Gisele? LOL! All I am trying to say is that those of us with the "fat genes" unfortunately will probably never be able to shop in the "trendy" stores. Yeah we may be able to get out of the plus size section, but because of our body types (bigger arms, wider back) we may never be able to fit well in that Armani dress or those stylish pair of jeans. Know what I mean?
If we are able to make our bodies leaner and more muscular, why not smaller? I know I will NEVER be petitie, but a girl can dream right? LOL!
Your body frame is the only thing you can't change... Everything else is fair game. And btw... recent studis show that this "fat gene" you speak of is directly connected to the "excuses" gene!
And no, the article does not contradict itself.

Do you and Wendy have the same body frame (shoulders, hips, ect.)?
In the same vein, one doesn't have to have the massive musculature to be strong, either. It all depends on the type of activity. Sometimes the leanest are the strongest. Someone shifting steel beams all day does not have to have the broad shoulders and massive chest but will still be the strongest person around. Again, it's the activity and the diet.
