Hello all,
I turned on the TV this morning to check the forecast for today, and I happened to see something truly appalling...so appalling I'm sitting here sharing my thoughts with you all right now. What did I see? I saw an absolute QUACK sharing her "groundbreaking fitness secrets for women". What were her secrets? Dancing on the treadmill and NEVER lifting anything heavier than 3lbs.
Note: please close your eyes and ears if you are you are offended by the TRUTH accompanied by a little foul language...
Now, without further ado. F*CK TRACY ANDERSON! There...I said it... And no, I'm NOT sorry for saying it nor will I ever be. Why am I so enraged by this woman? I am so sick and tired of seeing skinny little sacks of sh*t who can't lift anything heavier than a can of diet coke and who advocate taking yourself to the brink of STARVATION for the sake of being "fit" and "feminine" put in the spotlight to pollute the minds of women who are looking for professional help.
Since when did skinny, hungry, and weak equate to feminine? Who determined that a female athlete (regardless of her size) with the physical and mental strength to surmount any obstacle in her path is not beautiful? Some women have been brainwashed by so much trash that they would rather SWALLOW TAPEWORMS than push themselves beyond the "norm" for fear of becoming "masculine".
Listen to Tracy Anderson speak for God's sake! Not one sentence coming out of her face makes any damn sense whatsoever! Look at her dietary recommendations! This "renowned fitness expert" recommends eating less than 900 calories per day! Furthermore, her client Gwyneth Paltrow said "when you're 35 you have two choices: starve yourself, or eat and do serious cardio". Stuff like this is why woman all over this country are suffering from self-esteem problems, eating disorders, scale addictions, and a host of other issues.
Just about every magazine on the newsstands geared toward women's fitness is full of dietary supplement ads and repetitive advice from size 0 fitness models who 90% of the time have looked that way their entire lives and know nothing about achieving legitimate progress through legitimate means. (People like Jennifer Nicole Lee are exceptions, technically. I say technically because she's sold her soul to endorse products that she knows damn well don't work.)
Why is Jennifer Marnell not on the cover of these magazines you see everywhere? Shouldn't everyone be looking to her for advice and inspiration? Why is her story not all over the television? She lost 180lbs! 180lbs damnit! How? Through nothing but HARD WORK and DISCIPLINE... But unfortunately those two things are absolutely FREE. You can't put those things in a bottle and sell them... But what you can do though is DESTROY a person's spirit and create panic and desperation by constantly feeding them lies, thus creating a "PROBLEM", then creating and selling a "SOLUTION". There is no money in a cure ladies, but there sure is a boatload of money to be made selling you diet pills, surgeries, and other miscellaneous crap. This bullsh*t advice makes it onto Oprah and major network television BECAUSE IT SIMPLY DOESN'T WORK.
Ask yourself a few questions... If all these "groundbreaking training secrets and diets" that have been featured on the Oprah show actually worked, then why is she still fat and unhappy? If these expensive dietary supplements actually worked, then why are we the largest consumers of them yet we're still the fattest country on the planet? And most importantly, if the millions of people across the country looking to improve their physical and mental health actually received legitimate solutions to their problems, who else is going to buy all the useless diet supplements, "fitness" equipment, magazines, and DVDs?
All in all, what I'm saying here is AVOID THE TRAP LADIES!

All that crap is good for the lazy asses who will die from all those unatural supplements.
It's nice to say I put in the HARDWORK that helped me lose those 30 plus pounds. ;-)And I plan to make this a life long commitment.
I'd like to add just one more thing if you don't mind Will.
It's IMPORTANT to surround yourself with people who are just as committed in becoming fit!! So if I tend you push my friends and family a bit hard it's because I care about you and want you to lead lead a stonger, healthier, and eventually positive life. =) No negativity here... just support.
