YES!! I AM A BEAST! LOL Ya know... this article made me think (Which si good right?)... our bodies were made for movement, yes? Yes! indeed. Reading this article made me think about AJ and his Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) otherwise refferred to at times Sensory Integration Dysfuction (SID).

He loves to lift heavy for example, yesterday lifting my 20lb kettlebell when he only weighs 37lbs. =) Nearly freaked Pat out when he lifted hers. Of course I explained to Pat that lifting heavy is actually good for AJ because he seeks the proprioceptive input, it's part of his Sensory Integration Dysfunction. When he gets that input, he calms down and is able to focus better afterward.

This makes me wonder though.... is it truly a dysfunction? or are we the dysfuctional ones? Hmmmmmmmm
