Things are bad, what do we do about? Very interesting article indeed. Especially since this world IS based on a belief system. However, I have an issue with it so to speak.

I BELIEVE in the golden rule, I BELIEVE in Karma because I choose to believe it. I BELIEVE that if you lead a good life, you will be at peace. I BELIEVE that FAITH is a necessity, no matter what religion you choose to have faith in.

Now considering all that, I still BELIEVE this world needs LAWS, so there must be some sort of government whether we choose to believe in it or not. The article spoke of children & puppies living free. Prime examples of innocence; however innocence does not last no matter how much we wish for it.

In some species of animals there are Hierarchies; you have Alpha & Betas, so the question really is.... Which do you choose to be? The leader or the follower?

Regarding "Things are bad...", it's 10:30 AM and I'm going to refresh my spirit; therefore, by 6:30 tonight expect everything to be rosey in the world. All of the bad people will respect my refreshed spirit so I'll be able to ride the subway at 3 AM while counting my money openly and be completely safe.
Whoever wrote the article lives on a planet with multiple suns and needs lessons in grammar.

Andrea, I hear what you are saying... Those beliefs you mentioned however are all beliefs that aid the process of "refreshing the soul". The golden rule, karma, living a good (clean) life, and having faith are definitely fundamental elements of a meaningful existence. If everyone believed in those things the vast majority of the problems in today's world wouldn't exist. But unfortunately that's not reality...right now. After mass awakenings, I believe it could be.

Now in regard to the part about government, the article is not suggesting that we don't need order and social structure. In my opinion, it's simply stating that we don't have to allow soul-less tyrants to stand with their boots on our necks just because they are the "government". These people who are in positions of "authority" are normal human beings just like us, however many people look at them like they are 30 foot giants who can't be touched or defeated because they wear sharp suits, work/live in gaudy structures, and they have all the guns. That is NOT the case. WE BLINDLY ELECT these people. We have the ability revamp our political system, but most people don't even realize that we have a problem in the first place.

As much as "we" may want to believe we have a democracy in this country, we DON'T! The majority of our population doesn't realize that our basic freedoms are continually being stripped away... We're too busy watching television, or partying, or playing around on facebook to learn about the Bilderberg group or to hear about how the "government" is trying to take away our freedom to eat organic foods, to homeschool our kids, and to say no to unsafe vaccinations. And those examples are just the tip of the iceberg... There are so many atrocities going on in THIS country as well as abroad (Palestine) but we turn a blind eye in favor of the brain-numbing trash that is purposely thrown in our direction.

Also Andrea, in my opinion "innocence" can be preserved. Maybe I'm using the word in a different context than you intended but I'm referring to innocence as freedom from moral wrong or guilt. Based on that definition, I believe it is definitely possible to preserve innocence by maintaining a pure heart/mind and always doing the right thing...which goes back to those beliefs you mentioned (karma, living a clean life, and having faith).

And of course there will always be the need for leaders and followers. Some people just don't have it in them to lead the charge no matter how much they believe in something, which is understandable when you take into consideration the fact that people have been conditioned to be timid and afraid their entire lives. Therefore, there will always be commanders and there will always be soldiers. But at the end of the day, it's less about which one you are and it's more about whether or not you choose to fight in the first place.

Will, I guess I am not comfortable with the way the 'revolt' is being portrayed.

Instead of seeing it as against ideas of those in power, it may be seen as unpatriotic and against what we 'believe' America stands for. So the message gets lost because it's never HEARD all the way through. You know what I mean? It's like you get turned off and skim or ignore any article, video, or even person relating such information. Tactics need to be changed, the video is basically imploring the very same scare tactics used by the government.. don't you think? We Want Your Soul? Hmmmm Scary isn't it?

I rather read factual information and listen to discussions that deal with the issues at hand than fall prey to those types of marketing that could be considered by some as propaganda.

Vaccinations.. for me that is a very personal issue that I have had to deal with but after plenty of research I KNOW that it DID NOT cause my son's autism, so Jenny McCarthy can kiss my ass. As far as other parents are concerned that is their choice as it should be as well as homeschooling our children.

Yes unfortunately people have been conditioned for intimidation. I have even admitted to this in regards to how I go about getting my children to do what I ask. It's unfortunate but it's reality.

So how do we fight Big Pharm and its government back up? By MOTIVATING those timid people to do what's right. Re-condition them by giving them hope, strength, and support as You and Crossfit has done for me and you will win the world over... one person at a time.

You should be uncomfortable! And you should be "scared" by the video! Everything in that music video is HAPPENING RIGHT NOW and it is all factual... The truth is a scary thing for most people. So I disagree with your statement about the creaters using the "same scare tactics used by the government". They "government" does want our souls, and they already have most of them unfortunately.

And in regard to your comment about Austism, you have come to you conclusion based on your individual circumstances...and that's fine. I'm talking about it on a broad scope. There are overwhelming numbers of people who have valid reason to believe their child's Autism was caused by vaccinations when all of the facts are presented. But either way, whatever your belief, you should still have the OPTION to vaccinate or not. And that's my point...we are losing our CHOICE to make informed decisions.

As frightening as it may be, we have to all make a choice. Either stand up or roll over.

BLAAH! What I feel uncomfortable with is that they should pin point, PIN POINT individuals. Call them out and stop saying "government". I can't possibly believe that EVERY politician is for this; there must be some whom oppose.

What I am uncomfortable with is Americans against AMERICA. It's bad enough we have other countries who hate us, do we need to implode in order to win this? I think not... but then again I'm told I am the optimist.

Will-I-Am said...

I don't believe other countries are against America in itself, they are against the policies and the atrocities that have been associated with America (which a select few are ultimately responsible for when you really look at it). And yes, there are politicians who are against these things... But they don't make it very far. They are silenced in some way (through character assassination) or they are even killed, check the facts. So it's not about "hating America", it's about hating the things that go on in America and the false representations of America.

Will, unbelievable article! Really enjoyed it, thanks for sharing. It reminded me of "Le Belle Verte" and the idea of boycott.

Andrea... PLEASE try to remember, Will is on our side! He is NOT sharing this stuff to hurt our feelings! He is doing it because he "genuinely" cares... Regardless of whether or not we agree with his take, we should value the fact that his intentions are noble and altruistic in nature.

here is my 2 cents (as I humbly see it) - American government (or any other country's government for that matter) does NOT represent its peoples. History has shown this to be the case in each and every situation. And in every one of those situations those in charge have made it their business to convince the populace that they "truely care". Our American empire is no exception to the rule. There are thousands of examples of this being the case with America. A major example of this is the false allegations concerning Iraq's possesion of Weapons of Mass Destruction by the Majority of Gov't personnel. I would love to tell you that it was "just Bush" that lied to us (100's of times), but I can't. There is a HUGE archive of video evidence that shows otherwise. Due to that lie by the "GOV", "American people/soldiers" are still dying and suffering. So those of us speaking out against the lying government (that does not represent the American people) ARE truely WITH the American people.

RE: other countries hating "us"... The majority of people in those countries make a distiction between the American Government and the American People. They are fully aware and have learned that governments are currupt from their own personal experience (their own gov is ALSO currupt). They don't just blame the American Gov for their bleak situation, they hold their own lying gov't in contempt.

There are a few American politicians out there who's morals and values more closely resemble that of the hard-working, peaceful and loving "American people" - research RON PAUL, PAUL FINDLEY, or CYNTHIA MCKINNEY. Unfortunately each one of these individuals has been heavily censored by the media, ridiculed by their peers, and even removed from office. This is easily verifiable by looking through the media archives.

Lastly Andrea (tried to keep this short, really I did, LOL), I completely dig your hesitation on grouping all the politicians into one large lump. I personally had trouble doing that until I realized that the gov is just like any other business - employees of a company end up kissing up to the boss and doing things they are not proud of out of fear of losing their job. And just like in a lot of businesses the person who is given the title CEO/President is NOT the one who makes the BIG DECISIONS. Often times it is a Board of Directors that are Not identified (in the case of our GOV'T research the FEDERAL RESERVE - which is neither federal nor a reserve). Hate to bring this up, but think of the Credit Union... If the overall culture and beauracracy associated with an entity is based on hypocrisy and negative intentions or values it will continue to be that way (no matter how nicely it might be ADVERTIZED to those on the outside...)

with much love and respect,
t

=) Tony... I know Will is on our side, heck I even complimented him and put him on a pedastal 2 blogs up. I am just stepping outside the box and viewing this all from both perspectives. Some topics will hit close to home and things may get heated but in the end I know its all about being informed. Plus I KNOW WILL LOVES TO FIGHT ME ON THINGS! He lives for it. LOL!

I get the analogy you used Tony. But see... there are "good" people there, for how much longer... who knows; but I understand. I just hate lumping groups together, that whole "guilty by association" crap... it doesn't feel right to me. But that's just me.

I was never a good debater so I won't even try. I was merely voicing concern on how some information may come across to the masses (sheople) of which I am told I am one of them. Blaah.

The article which is being discussed is merely stating that in our society we live in an illusion created by the powerful...which WE in turn create. We put lots of people on pedastals for reasons which we are even unsure of...because someone else told us to? because that's how its "supposed to be"? because nobody pays any attention to anything but the mind numbing crap put on our TV's?
By "folding" to the "powers that be" we lie to ourselves everyday. We lose our identities and our beliefs and instead rely on others to create them for us. Instead of doing the research and delving into topics which we find "hard to believe" we take it at face value and swallow it...sheeple style.
The part about children being born innocent or to some "tabula rasa" is something which we lose site of. To children when a bubble pops they dont worry or get upset, they simply blow another one and the day keeps moving. It is this innocence and genuine delight which allows children to live fearless and rely on us to tell them what is right and wrong or reality vs. fiction but if WE don't even know which is which, what kind of men/women are we raising? By keeping them free by educating ourselves even to the "possibilities" of what is the reality in our society, we can all become or stay free simply by using one of the rights we do have, the right to be educated.
We each get to create our own reality...it should be done with concern, poise, respect, altruism and an honest understanding of ourselves and those around us.

Andrea you are a warrior, I've seen you with those weights!

Seriously thought, I am fully aware of the kind of obstacles you are faced with already in your life while being a caring, amzingly wonderful mother and positive role-model to your beautiful children. That makes you a true warrior in my book. It is truely unfair that you should have to deal with all this additional DRAMA in your life (that Will happens to dump your way - LOL)!!! It is "DRAMA overload"!

And most definetely (at first) it is all very overwhelming (not to mention dark, myterious, creepy and gloomy, LOL)...

So if you're anything like me, you are probably saying: "I got so much drama and shit to deal with already (bills, family, job, college funds, retirement, so on and so on), why am I going to ADD even more STRESS in my life by diving into this "rabbit hole" (it's a term used in the movie Matrix)???" And this is a completely rational take on the situation. In my estimation, this reason alone is what keeps so many from unzipping "reality". Certainly that was the case for me. I was stuck in a cycle of: stressful work, tired, feeling trapped, paying bills; watching tv, drinking, eating (stuff I know I should not) or shopping (for stuff I should not) in order to feel better temporarily, sleep REPEAT. The only way we (will, myself and literally millions of others throughout the world... a huge awakenning is taking place as we speak thanks to the abundance of info on the internet) were able to break that vicious and negative cycle is by taking on that additional drama one faces (esp. initially) following the dive into the "rabbit hole"!

How can that be? How can more stress ultimately lead to the reduction of stress?! Well the best way I could explain that crazy and outlandish concept utilizing mere words is by quoting a fellow that lived over 2000 years ago: "The truth shall set you free."

That is all Will is trying to do. Not an easy task for anyone to take on if you ask me... but a noble one indeed. For the reward is infinetely big. How so?
Once free, a person can ultimately unleash their infinite potential on ALL those around them. Why infinite? We are all part of an infinite Universe - thus WE are infinite (the only way to realize this is to free onself from the faith-based system that the article Will posted reffered to). Are there any examples of people who have discovered their infinite potential? Here are a few - Bob Marley, Ghandi, MLK, Malcolm X, Mother Teresa, Jesus, etc. Their positive influence has been unleashed on the world and their impact is that of infinite possibilities - their influence is still having an impact today and there is no possible way to measure their vast impact on the universe (due to their influence being passed down from generation to generation by others). For every well-known person, there are thousands of uknown folks that have also had an infinite impact on their surrounding.

sorry for the loooooong train of thought (no debating here, just caring/loving souls exchaging positive vibes with one another!)

take care warrior!,
t
