That's exactly it. The way it was explained. EXACTLY! It's purely mixed emotions brought out by a challenging workout. Especially when the workout is for time and you struggle hard to do your best.

You don't want to let your trainer down, but most importantly you don't want to let yourself down if you don't complete it, so you push hard. You push against all the negative thoughts that pound away at your brain telling you, "Stop! you can't do this today, try again another time." You almost give into those thoughts but you pull through it, you finish the workout. Then the floodgates open, it's anger, remorse, and finally joy washing away so that you are in a state of Euphoria.
